Why Was Jesus Such A Great Leader?

He had some amazing trait that made him able to get lots of people to follow him and some died/nearly died in the process.

Then, HE died for all of us sinners in an amazing act of unconditional Love.

Then, a bunch of people wrote about it and put it together in a book. And the book was so important that people actually cared to edit it, in approximately the 6th Century, B.C.
